Portraiture Questions:
Do you offer custom portrait albums or prints?
Yes, I offer beautifully crafted albums and prints to display your portraits at home or share with loved ones. You can choose a collection of portraits, albums or a Wall Art collection from my product range.
What’s the process for selecting the final portraits?
After the shoot, we will sit and have an instant reveal to choose your favourites, once you decide on the products (collection, album, or wall art) i’ll work on the final edits. Your pickup appointment will be around 2-3 weeks after the shoot to allow your lovely product to arrive from sunny Italy safely.
Do you offer guidance on posing during the shoot?
Yes, I provide gentle guidance and direction to help you feel relaxed, confident, and natural throughout the session.
Can I request a specific mood or theme for my portraits?
Absolutely! We’ll chat about your vision during our consultation and create a mood board to align your preferences with my artistic approach. I have a few styles to choose from for a start, but we can create a themed photoshoot around a specific idea.
How long does a typical portrait session last?
A standard session runs around 2-3 hours of creative shooting time, which allows for outfit changes, different setups, and getting comfortable in front of the camera, however, you need to add 1-1,5 hours for professional hair and makeup if you decided to add that option to your session.
Can we bring personal props or items to include in the portraits?
Of course! Personal items can add a unique touch to the session, whether it’s a piece of art, a meaningful accessory, or something fun.
Do you offer both studio and natural lighting options?
Yes, we can experiment with different lighting setups, whether it’s studio lights or natural daylight, to create the right atmosphere for your portraits
Model Test & Portfolio Questions:
How soon can I expect to receive the final images?
You’ll receive a contact sheet shortly after the shoot, and the final edited images will be delivered via Dropbox within 1–2 weeks
Can I bring a chaperone or parent to the shoot?
Absolutely! For young models, it’s always important to have a parent or guardian there to support and help with outfit changes. I would require a chaperone for anyone under 16.
How long does a typical model test shoot last?
Model test shoots usually run for about 3 hours, which gives us enough time for different lighting setups and outfit changes in a relaxed atmosphere.
Do you provide advice on how to pose during a model test shoot?
Yes! I offer guidance throughout the shoot to help new models feel confident and natural, ensuring they look their best.
How do you tailor the shoot to a model’s needs?
Every session is customised with a mood board, outfits, and lighting that fit the model’s specific goals. We also discuss the client’s vision during a pre-shoot Zoom call.
Do you work with young aspiring models?
Yes! I specialise in helping young models (up to 16) create test shots and update their portfolios, whether they’re signed or just starting out.
Branding for Actors Questions:
How soon can I expect to receive the headshots?
You’ll get the contact sheet up to 5 working days after the session, and edited files are delivered up to 10 working days from your final selection, via Dropbox.
Do you offer both indoor and outdoor headshot options?
No, I only work within a studio environment, however, we will work with different types of lighting (natural light and studio ) to enhance your casting type needs accordingly.
Do you offer touch-ups or retouching on the final images?
Yes, I provide light retouching to ensure the images look polished but that they still look natural and true to you.
How many outfit changes are allowed during the shoot?
Typically, we can fit in 5–6 outfit changes, but this can vary depending on your casting type choices. You’ll get outfit advice during the planning chat.
What should I wear for my headshots?
I offer full guidance, outfit advice, mood board, and wardrobe inspiration as a part of my process. Generally, solid colours with a splash of an accent and simple designs work best to keep the focus on your face.
Do you provide advice on selecting the best headshots for different types of roles?
Yes and No, I help you choose images that work for a range of roles, from commercial to dramatic, so your portfolio shows versatility, but I can only advise on the best angles, connection, and expression quality. However, for the final selection, I would advise you to bring along an industry professional to help you choose just the right tone. If you don’t know anyone, I can arrange that for you for an additional cost of £50.
How do you ensure headshots reflect my acting type?
I take time to get to know your acting goals in a Zoom chat. Whether you’re aiming for dramatic roles, comedic, or something in between, I make sure the mood board aligns with your casting needs, and with years of experience, I developed my workflow to cover all your bases.
Children's Headshots Questions:
Can we get a headshot and a few portraits during the same session, can I join my child?
Yes, of course. If you choose a mini portrait “add-on”, we will have an additional 30 – 45 min photoshoot at the end of the session, to create a beautiful Wall Art or portrait collection, depending on your needs. You are more than welcome to join in and have your portraits taken with your child. Please ask me for more details, I am happy to help.
What’s the typical turnaround time for receiving the final headshots?
You’ll get a contact sheet shortly after the shoot, and the final edited images will be delivered within 1–2 weeks via Dropbox.
Can I stay with my child during the shoot?
Yes, parents are welcome to stay and watch the session. I create a space where both you and your child would feel at ease.
How do you ensure the headshots reflect my child’s personality?
Through our consultation and mood board planning, we make sure the session is all about highlighting what makes your child unique, keeping the shoot fun and low-pressure.
What should my child wear for their headshot session?
We’ll plan outfits together based on your child’s personality and the goals of the shoot. The key is to keep it simple and comfortable.
How do you make children feel comfortable during the session?
I create a playful, relaxed environment with fun prompts, plenty of encouragement, music to lift the spirit, and even some snacks to keep the mood light and fun!
